Entrepreneurial Spirit Since Day One
S&N was founded in 1991 out of the conviction that software projects could be done better: closer to the customer, faster in implementation, and with more entrepreneurial responsibility.
Founders Klaus Beverungen and Josef Tillmann came from an environment where technological possibilities were limited by rigid structures. They saw the need among their customers – and decided to do things differently themselves. With a first customer who immediately trusted them, and a team that joined them on this path, S&N was born.
From Founding to Corporate Group
What began as a small team is now a corporate group with over 500 employees, multiple locations, and a clear focus: individual software solutions for banks, public institutions, and companies.
Over more than 35 years, S&N has continuously reinvented itself. Technologically and organizationally. From the first software projects to current topics such as Cloud, platform architectures, and Artificial Intelligence.
Next Generation Leadership
Today, the company is co-managed by the next generation: Markus Beverungen, Board Member S&N Group, and Jens Tillmann, Managing Director S&N Marktsoft and Head of Accounting, FiCo & Backoffice S&N Group.
Both consciously and with conviction joined the company to actively shape its development.
It has a different effect, both internally and externally, when families continue to take responsibility. This gives us the freedom to think long-term, act in partnership, and make decisions that sustainably benefit our employees and customers.
