Your Responsibilities
- As a Software Architect, you are responsible for managing and implementing demanding IT projects and designing sustainable, scalable software architectures.
- You provide expert advice to our clients on digitalization and the selection of suitable enterprise technologies and methods, particularly in the context of AI.
- You competently support all project phases: from sound technical analysis and effort estimation to architecture design and rollout.
- You conduct architecture reviews and as-is analyses of complex, often legacy IT landscapes.
- You assist our clients in migrating their legacy IT systems to new, future-proof architectures.
- You conduct preliminary studies and PoCs to convince our clients of the performance of our offerings.
- Together with the business unit’s leadership team, you shape our strategy and are responsible for the meaningful and goal-oriented use of AI.
- You manage teams of developers and/or architects to achieve the best results for our clients together.
- You prepare decision papers for our clients’ C-level and IT management.
Your Profile
- You have at least 5 years of sound professional experience as a software developer, consultant, or in a comparable role.
- You already have experience in the role of an architect and ideally also in managing teams.
- You have demonstrable industry experience in at least one of our focus markets: banking, insurance, transport, or the public sector.
- Ideally, you have practical experience in technical analysis (requirements engineering) to precisely translate business requirements into technological solutions.
- You possess in-depth expertise in current architectural paradigms and technologies.
- You are confident in agile project setups and have mastered common methods and tools.
- You impress with your entrepreneurial mindset, quality awareness, and clear, target-group-oriented communication.
- You enjoy continuously familiarizing yourself with new technology trends (such as Agentic AI, RPA, or hyperautomation) and show high flexibility in finding solutions.
- You have a successfully completed STEM degree (or a comparable qualification), business-fluent German, and good English skills for international project work.
